First off, the subject means nothing. I don't know where it came from in my head, but it's there never the less. (It probably has to do with the broken television next to my computer... )

Anyway, I'm writing this for a few reasons.
The first is this: I just watched Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo, also known as (in english) The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. (I'm talking about the anime here, not the live action movie)
It was awesome. I give it nine thumbs up out of ten.

Secondly, As my one week respite is coming to a close, I'm remembering that I need to get some shit done (I've started plenty of stuff, but finished none).

And lastly, a thought, partially in reflection of the past couple of years, and a general consideration of my past, present and future:
It certainly seems, much to my dismay, that as I become more knowledgeable and skilled, I feel considerably less so. With every task I complete, and every thing I learn, I'm constantly reminded of how little I actually know, and how few things I'll have the time to learn while on this earth. It's a depressing thought, yes, but I also feel like there's something nice about it as well. Perhaps the mild comfort is derived from the assurance that there are so many others in the same situation. Never the less, It's incredibly disheartening, the feeling of not knowing. In a way, that should be motivation enough to get going, but somehow, it's not.
